Some Like It Hot: Garden Workshop

"Some Like It Hot" is a free garden workshop on June 14, 2023 exploring garden crops that love hot weather. The workshop will cover how to start sweet potato slips and plant them, how to plant and care for okra (it's a hibiscus!) and other tropical crops, such as tomatoes and peppers. The workshop will begin in the Fortnightly Building (421 N. 6th St., Vincennes) and will also include hands-on learning in the Grow City Teaching Garden (behind the McGrady-Brockman Building, 614 N. 7th St., Vincennes). This is part of a series of free workshops offered through the Knox County Seed Library on the second Wednesday of each month, January through October.
