Overview

Kari Johnson, owner of Penny Tracker LLC, will provide a day-long training workshop for the online version of QuickBooks. The target audience is small business owners and/or administrative staff that would like to gain greater insight into the bookkeeping process and the QuickBooks Online (QBO) software.

Objectives

Attendees will understand:

1. The importance of keeping accurate financial records;

2. How to read a Profit and Loss Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement;

3. Which version of QuickBooks Online will best meet their needs;

4. How to customize the set-up and Chart of Accounts to track the most helpful financial information;

5. The basic QBO workflow for their day-to-day business operations; and

6. Reconciliations, customizing reports, and automated recurring transactions.

Attendees will leave with a solid understanding of the proper set-up for their business; how to enter and process ongoing financial transactions; and how to generate and customize reports.

Expectations

Attendees are encouraged to bring a laptop or tablet for hands-on learning (remember your charger!).
