Harvesting and Preserving

"Harvesting and Preserving" is a free workshop teaching how to use what one has grown in the garden. It is part of a series of workshops offered by the Knox County Seed Library on the second Wednesday of each month, January through October. This workshop will cover methods of food preservation such as drying apples, herbs, and other foods, and a primer on how to do canning, pickling and freezing. Attendees must register by sending a message to kcplseedlibrary@gmail.com or through the Facebook page Knox County Seed Library (Indiana). Workshops begin at the Fortnightly Building, 421 N. 6th St., Vincennes.
